Our community garden in East Ocean View has been a work in progress for 5 years….here is a video and peek into our lovely gem in the neighborhood.

I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing accomplishment. Thank you Christina and Leon of Lancaster Farms for getting the video to us! Fabulous job!!!!

Also to Bon Secours Joanne Merinar who has been a staple in getting us funding and volunteers….not to mention Operation Blessing and all the Community Members that have given a hand.

Paying it forward in the Community

We have a community garden here in East Ocean View and yesterday was a clean up day….Thank you to everyone that came out to help…..Suzie and Mike Kellison, Chris Lutz, Dan with Operation Blessing (thanks for the photos), Steve Zollos, JoAnne Merinar of Bon Secours, Dave, lots of neighbors and others from the community. Thanks to those of Operation Blessing that came but their names slip my mind….(forgive me)…You are appreciated. It truly is a blessing to give back. U & I Home Decorating and Staging owner Deborah Lutz had the honor of helping out and adopting a vegetable and flower box in the Community gardens built by Bon Secours, Operation Blessing, Home Depot, and community neighbors. We all take care of and tend to the garden as a community. It has been a wonderful experience to be a part of giving back. Read about the amazing garden and it’s progress in the two links below.
